Tamago Sushi and Salmon Sashimi.  All you can eat sushi is a dangerous thing, especially when you’re hungry and think you can eat several cows.  The orderer should be skilled in making judgement calls determining between the orderee’s suggested portion and realistic portion.  Eating should be planned and well executed, but most of all… must be a team effort - can’t leave no mans behind!

Five Green Tea Frappuccinos.  Walked around downtown with some friends and Boyfriend decided to buy errbody drinks.  If ever there was perfect weather to enjoy a green tea frap, it was Sunday afternoon.

Magnolia’s Ube Ice Cream.  Had a couple scoops,  then Boyfriend (literally) ate the rest of the tub.  I can’t even blame him, it’s understood in my house that when it comes to food - you snooze, you lose.  Obviously, I chose the wrong time to eat slowly.

Sunday morning, I wore me some high heels and forgot to bring a pair of flip flops to change into later on.  By mid-day, my feet were sore and aching.  In my confused and delirious pain-induced state, I skipped lunch.  Only after I resolved that problem, did I realize how hungry I was.  Had to grab something quickly in order to avoid the inevitable crankiness and starvation that would follow.  Happily, I settled for one of my favourite drinks in the coffee world - Starbucks’ Vanilla Frappuccino partnered with some banana loaf… you know, since you’re supposed to have 3-5 servings of fruits/vegetables in a day.

Boyfriend has titled this “Heart Attack” in his Flickr account - for good reason.  I can feel my arteries closing up just looking at it.
Surprise # 1.  We found this cake in a burger/wing joint.
Surprise #2.  I didn’t eat it!
Probably because I was too busy stuffing my face with chicken.  I’ll come back for a slice on Friday. drool.

Today’s lunch: 30 chicken wings with blue cheese and creamy garlic dip.
(10 Honey Garlic, 10 Roasted Pepper, 10 Salt and Pepper)
Shared these with Boyfriend.  Walking through the masses of the Bloor Street Festival worked up our appetites, so we stopped by our usual wings joint to find it completely re-vamped.  Check out the renovations to “KO Burgers” along Bloor Street (-previously Wing Shop 366).  Didn’t realize I was craving this until I realized how satisfied I was.  Good eats!

My food mantra: When in doubt, eat sushi.  Tonight’s appetizer was Soft Shell Crab from Toronto’s New Generation, my other sushi joint (my favourite being, Big Sushi).  Most of the time, I can’t eat food if it looks like what it looks like when it’s alive.  I know this crab is cutting it close, but I think the fact that there’s no peeling helps me deal.  You know… in addition to the fact that it tastes something fierce.
